If enough randomly selected voters agreed/volunteered to make their votes non-anonymous next time, for the purpose of tracking their votes to final tally, could you catch most fraud attempts via statistics?

Americans seem to be proud of who they're voting for and plenty display that, so why is the election anonymous! Is it what the majority want?

Hadn’t really thought about this but if you are anonymous, there’s no practical way for someone to threaten or intimidate you to vote a certain way.
