Trump was comparing COVID-19 with the flu after experts were saying it was not the same (based on several factors, such as r0, risk to elderly, etc.). This was in March-April 2020. Many more Trump statements were wrong and in conflict with experts. https://youtu.be/t4yZaoA90Jk?t=138 …pic.twitter.com/KtRWCw4RAo

Trump misleading statement #2: March 10: "And we're prepared, and we're doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away." That was false while experts cautioned this may take more lives if it is not dealt with effectively. Today, 3000+ deaths/day

Trump false stmt #3: March 24: “So I think Easter Sunday and you’ll have packed churches all over our country. I think it would be a beautiful time. And it’s just about the timeline that I think is right.” No expert was saying it would be gone by Easter.

Trump misleading stmt #4: June 25: “So, we have more cases because we do the greatest testing. If we didn’t do testing, we’d have no cases." Completely misleading, since he did not mention positivity is the key to testing:https://www.factcheck.org/2020/06/trump-falsely-says-covid-19-surge-only-due-to-testing-misleads-on-deaths/ …

The United States' mortality rate is not “just about the best in the world.” - http://FactCheck.org Trump's statement was clearly false if you define mortality rate as # of deaths/100,000 people. Does not look like Trump even looked at the John Hopkins site.pic.twitter.com/2NqE6mWXNM

What point are you trying to make? I only asked about things that made an actual difference.
