Those who control the media, picking winners and losers, get to persuade as though they have real data when there is no actual data.

No. There is science showing that leadership makes a difference in COVID-19 death rates. It is, however, also imperfect (although better than this useless study)

I second this question. I'm more curious about how such a study is conducted, though, as opposed to the results.

We seem to be reaching that point of statistical dissonance where multiple reports will have multiple results and no consensus can be reach or truth none. So it's basically SOP 2020.

Something tells me that there is no analysis that
@AndreasShrugged WOULD be happy with. Is this fair to say Andreas? Are all studies essentially doomed for one reason or another? -
All the studies are doomed because they can’t possibly separate lockdowns from what would have happened naturally in the progression, and how that would change human behavior.

Let's say I would already see a few problems with defining 'leadership', disentangling it from 'system of government', etc... On a different page, there are clearly things we would universally rate as leadership mistakes without science, like 'take it easy with vaccine research'.

How about a serious and direct answer to his question, rather than whatever you were just rambling about?

If leadership doesn’t make a difference then is it fair to say that no interventions made a difference? For example, masks?
