Clarification: We don't have a legislative system with a too-much-pork flaw in it. The pork part **IS** our system. As designed, it can't operate without the pork. Understand it as a system problem, not a politician problem. If you replace them all, you get the same pork.

I have to say that MOST of the time I am happy with gridlock. The less laws Congress is passing, the less I find them meddling in my life. There are exceptions but they would be edge cases.
