The fake news can’t criticize Trump for his biggest pandemic mistake (not understanding the rapid testing concept) without accidentally solving the pandemic as a side effect. So they don’t.

I’ll take the Trump business view point. What’s the point if a bunch of data is collected but do nothing with it? Would the rapid test data changes any of the actions taken? Probably not since the politicized choice was lockdown until vaccines were created.

Everyone should have gotten a few doses of Ivermectin.. Problem solved.. I've been on it for a month.. It's solving all kinds of problems!

The Scientific view point would be for mass collection of data, the more instantaneous the better. The virus progress could be mapped, tracked, and maybe targeted lockdowns for certain areas or population groups, but there is still a gap of treatment options. /1

The Rapid test would only be a stopgap measure for either gaining herd immunity, vaccines,or treatment options that stop the virus in host. Rapid testing could lead to Analysis Paralysis or corrupted purposes by the Swamp via slanted interpretations and disinformation responses

It was discussed at Trump's task force presser (I remember it being demonstrated too) a while back but faded from the scene. That's the mystery and the media never followed up.
