The problem with this take is that every expert who says masks DO work understands how small the virus is compared to the mask structure. Doesn't that tell you this is not the killshot point you thought it was?https://twitter.com/JWard_73/status/1340294605036789765 …

Masks can’t stop the aerosolized particles carrying a virus that’s 100X smaller than what a surgical mask is rated for.

I don’t agree. The evidence for the efficacy of masks - especially in real life application - is meager at best. There should be actual evidence that they are somehow effective in order to force the world to wear them. Yet most scientific evidence says the opposite.

Not really. We know HCQ and Ivermectin works too. And yet.. Same reason. People, including doctors and scientists are political and easily manipulated. It was Planck who said "science advances one funeral at a time"

It's easy to answer your question. Allow us our 100% right of freedom of assembly & association by explaining that the govt will not close anything where everyone is wearing effective N-95 masks & airtight goggles that prevent the spread of C19.

The amount of “friction” that mask puts in the transmission process is unknown, but it is a non-zero number. Mask are effective at reminding people that they need to alter their social behavior during a pandemic. That alone saves lives.

But there’s no evidence of that. You’re using common sense which is usually the way to go but there isn’t any evidence in a controlled study or in statistical observation. https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/pdfs/19-0994.pdf …

For some reason, his own cognitive dissonance is allowing him to believe the “experts” don’t have ulterior motives and he’s choosing to believe some “experts” and not others. Problem is, his experts don’t have proof. Mine do:https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/pdfs/19-0994.pdf …

Because they don't understand it. We don't know the viral load threshold before infection sets in with the host. A mask could work if the viral load requirement is significant.

The information is for the public, who, for the most part, do not know that the 'experts' are misleading them.
