As a country, if we let Congress go home for the holidays without a serious coronavirus relief bill of some kind, we are proving ourselves worthy of poor treatment. We should be surrounding the Capitol and stopping traffic to airports.

I've owned a number of businesses, and I've also been sued more than once. I believe in our legal system, and that justice will prevail. If lawsuits have no merit, corporations have nothing to worry about. Immunity will allow them to legally endanger their workers' lives. No!

Hey
@ScottAdamsSays, what is more important? COVID relief for individuals and small businesses who desperately need it? Or corporate immunity from COVID-related lawsuits against them? -
With quality thinking like that, you could be in Congress. How about we do all the smart things and none of the dumb things instead.

It's hard to even make the connection: Sending checks to Americans because so many of them are in desperate need- food insecurity, impending eviction, etc. holding those checks hostage because something unrelated to that MIGHT be a good idea (according to Scott it's a good idea)
