Does anyone know if #Photoshop is broken? It's acting randomly on two different computers today. Line tool and pen tool change their settings while you use them. @Adobe

Hi Scott, sorry to hear about this. Are you using the latest v22.0.1 of Photoshop on both computers? Also, are you working with a graphic tablet to draw with Photoshop? Thanks, ^AK

Thank you. Wacom Cintiq for drawing on a Macbook, v22.01 Photoshop and Big Sur OS. Line tool disappears after deselecting it. And changing settings doesn't work as they change themselves back.

Thanks for the info! Did you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop as requested to check if that helps? Also, please install the new update for Photoshop we rolled out today (22.1) to check if the issue persists. Please let us know how it goes! ^NM

Thanks for sharing the video, I am not experiencing this issue at my end. Does it happen only when you use the Pen? Have you tried using a mouse and see if the issue persists? Also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop and see if that helps? Thanks! ^SC

I tried it myself and I ran into the same issue as Scott. However, if you deselect all layers and then set the stroke color, stroke width, and the type of line you want before drawing, the Line Tool should work properly.pic.twitter.com/SjGX9aAg7g

I'm not aware of any way to deselect all layers. No instructions in the Help.

Hi Scott, you can deselect the layers by going to the Select menu in Photoshop, then click on the option to Deselect layers. Once done, please try the steps suggested by dav.d daniels to check if that helps. Thanks! ^NM

Doesn't work. I'll find another software solution. Thank you.

Pixelmator Pro and the cheaper cousin of Photoshop - Elements 2021 are working very nice Big Sur.
