The world in data website seems to be off on the daily deaths... Wildly so. Here's the most recent from worldometer:pic.twitter.com/QcOBfvvknz

worldometer is showing the raw number and not normalizing for population in 100k increments. That said, the curves are drastically different between the two sources.

I'm showing the data only from September onwards. In spring, Sweden was even doing much worse than Germany, which your graphs correctly indicate.

This compare one country to one other single country is typically intended to deceive. Here’s the major countries in Europe (deaths per capita). Tell me how bad Sweden is.pic.twitter.com/Nc0UzZOwIO

Post used one data point - the last - to prove a narrative. Real question is why Germany and Sweden are doing better than most of the western world. Also sub Saharan Africa is puzzling.

Even then there's massive discrepancy. If number of deaths per day in Sweden has been dropping the last few days, the percentage should be dropping too.

A thread that you can refer to next time someone claims that the pandemic is over in Sweden, based on recent death figures that appear to be dropping in the last couple of weeks. (Spoiler: They always appear to be dropping in the last couple of weeks.) /1
