Hospitalizations normally rise this time of year, but not that much.https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1333761557017325570 …

If you don't follow the science, you die or bad outcomes happen. Probably will happen with unabated CO2 production, but heck "the experts are ALL wrong". I just follow the graphs, common sense, & so far I have avoided the hospital. I will get a vaccine too, since it's science.pic.twitter.com/IEtF7wQtet

Which "Science" should you follow? Real Science or "Outdated Science"?https://rogerpielkejr.substack.com/p/the-unstoppable-momentum-of-outdated?r=2n1fv&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&utm_source=twitter …

The best knowledge we have available at the time. I listen to all the arguments & make a judgment call on how I should plan my life. Science is imperfect, but pundits just plain distort reality for their agenda. If I had a choice, I will take the imperfect science over opinion

Doesn't that depend on how "imperfect" that science is?https://twitter.com/RamblingAK/status/1333490985372950532 …

Once you pose 'follow the science' in probability of claims being true, you then can safely follow a path which most likely is going to guide you in the right direction. If I follow the conspiracy crowd, which is very low probability, bad outcomes are more likely if false.

Yeah, I've noticed most "conspiracy" theories don't make sense in terms of supposed incentives and motivations. OTOH, mostly "Science" is a "conspiracy" to create and maintain a detailed, predictive worldview that can be rationally understood. Ignoring vexing results included.

I am aware of the problems in the science community. I have read "The Trouble with Physics". I also read a book describing the history of cancer research and it is a frightening one. My point is, if I have to choose, I will take a scientific argument over an opinion.

Is that a fact... or an opinion?
