Never minded doing dishes. First job was as a dishwasher and busboy and got pretty good at it. I still remember pulling soaking wet dollar bills out of my apron to split the tips with coworkers at the end of a shifthttps://www.theatlantic.com/family/archive/2018/04/doing-dishes-is-the-worst/557087/ …

I worked as a dishwasher at woman’s dormitory at a college. Was an eye opener what women looked like in the morning after the night before.

I did not like the industrial pink detergent used where I washed dishes. Left my hands irritated.

Me too. 4 hrs straight of dishes and busing tables in high school for the first six months of my pizza job. Now I just shake my head when I watch others. Skilz

Short order cook, usually tossing chicken but washed dishes, and cleaned the fryers out as well. Would come home after 11pm with my face white from the flour. But I did get to take home all the extra cinnamon rolls I could nearly every night. Only white kid in the kitchen.
