Half of the country still thinks Trump wondered aloud about "drinking bleach" because the "news" told you he did.https://twitter.com/thejimjams/status/1331580563807932418 …

Injecting bleach, the media broadcasted him wondering so, Trump shared his thoughts directly, there was never a need for an intermediary.

That didn't happen. The context was light as disinfectant, injected via a ventilator-like device, which was being trialed at the time. I tweeted about it. A fake edit removed the context that it was light, and "injecting light"morphed into "drinking bleach." That really happened.

You're flailing to imbue his nonsense with nuance, it's not what he meant because if it were, he's had plenty of chances to explain that nuance other than to say that he's was just being sarcastic, in response to shocked reports of his bleach ingestion option he touted

I think we agree that he wasn't being sarcastic. Sounds like he didn't want to be bothered about something he saw in a tweet once (possibly from me). But his original words are completely clear if you know this was being trialed at the time.
