I like Scott but he tries to often to play mind games with his audience. He believes in the Covid19 scam, in masks and in the vaxx. This shows that he is not very smart. Maybe he is a gullible guy.

An override function is. perfectly reasonable. Normally such functions require oversight (2 people verification) so conspiracy is necessary for fraud. Like at the supermarket when the cashier wants to reverse a charge. Same thing. So was their 2-part authorisation and a log?
