But to say there aren’t concerns about recounts and the validity of those is naive. It clearly depends on who is doing the recounts because if it’s the same people that did the original counting... yeah I would question it.

The database is easily auditable against actual voting records in each county. Hacking the central database makes very little sense because it would easily be exposed. Our inefficient election system is wonderfully difficult to corrupt all its parts.

Voting integrity is the priority #1. No good reason to jeopardize it (efficiency - Ha Ha!!). Only a manual paper process is *watchable* throughout. B/c ink applied doesn't change, but a line of code can change what's digitally stored. So, only an in-person paper process!

Founders intended ballots to have EYES (from both sides) on them throughout, so their integrity remains assured. We had that until we computerized voting, quite recently.

I’d add that the actual machines are auditable. The vendors of the machines can easily detect if there has been tampering with individual machines. If so, those results can be “recounted” with the paper ballots. That recount is now happening in GA due to the close results.

Translation: Scooter knows it was an inside hack because there’s no evidence of a hack.

Is there a national, or even state-wide, database that "collects everything"? I thought counties declare and certify separately, based on their locally-held data?
