I was going to vote Trump since I like most of his policies. But when I heard he called nazis "very fine people" I decided to vote for Biden. Is there any way I can change my vote now?

I live in Charlottesville. The truth is that many participants in the original protest were simply folks who opposed removing the statue of Lee. They saw themselves as defending southern culture. And many of them likely were and are fine people.

You can see the cognitive dissonance. Their identity is Trump hatred. Their Ego demands Trump hatred - who would they be if they are wrong about this central fact? Even with proof, they shift into identity-protection mode. Don't build your house (identity) on sinking sand.

Keep it up, Scott. Trump's racism is not in doubt, no matter how hard you try to change the "fine people" incident. https://gen.medium.com/trump-keeps-saying-racist-things-heres-the-ever-growing-list-of-examples-21774f6749a4 …https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/06/trump-racism-comments/588067/ …
