It isn't just the "shy" Trump supporters that polls are missing. Polls are also missing the "Dad Joke" Trump supporters who think it's funny to lie to pollsters. That's the bigger group.

You’re saying this anecdotally. Don’t you think the pollsters have gotten much better at their jobs? Better at spotting the outliers? I mean some polls have Trump up (Rasmussen) - is the person being polled lying only to the ones that don’t have Trump up already?

You saying that there are the dad joker people lying to polls because they are tweeting it at you - could we infer that your followers are more likely to do this?

And - could the pollsters be adjusting for what they then see as outliers? Or are the people lying just THAT GOOD at playing the part? Wouldn’t there have to be a coordinated effort to skew the polls so badly?

Define "coordinated." The zeitgeist would get it done.

Ok, you think the zeitgeist will get it done. That’s not scientific. Granted - polls are not perfect. But neither is inferring a behavior from anecdotal evidence from one’s own followers on Twitter.

Did I claim it was scientific? I'm just reading the room.

How many likely Trump voters are in Trump social media groups? Again, this is all unproven opinion.
