I’m in day two without power and it’s 30-something outside. I was prepared for it, but it still isn’t pleasant. I’ve decided I like having electrical power enough that I’m going to make sure I’m not without it again. I think a whole-house diesel generator might be in the cards.

And when the pumping system has no power?

It's a gas under pressure, so no pump required.

Gas supply can be interrupted. You can store propane and diesel locally to control your runtime
