.@AriMelber #Dilbert guest was wrong in 2016. He said Trump would win by a 'wide margin'. He did not. He lost the pop vote.
Perhaps reminding him of that prior to asking for his next 'guess' would have modified his answer.
Also, he is betting on a hugely gullible electorate.

The popular vote doesn't even exist as far as electing POTUS is concerned. There's no national popular vote for the House of Representatives or Senate, either.

Rules and laws don't matter just what you can talk people into.....too much advice from marketing people in the DemSocialist party

Not irrelevant to my tweet my man. I was simply stating that the guest said that he called for Trump to win the 2016 election by a "wide margin". The margin applies to the popular vote, not the Electoral College.

100%. The "popular vote" complaint is like saying the team with the most touchdowns should have lost the Superbowl because they ran fewer yards. THAT IS NOT THE CONTEST. Hillary KNEW the rules of the game and played to win the most Electoral Votes - and lost!

Precisely, although I use baseball and the World Series for my analogy. "What do you mean Team A won 4 out of 7 games? Team B scored the most overall runs, they should be the winners!"

If we’re playing a game of HORSE and you called a bank shot, and the shot went in but you didn’t bank it off the backboard that means you don’t get credit. You said he would win in a *landslide*, and went on to say that it might be the biggest victory ever. Bottom 20th percentile
