If the wage tax is 10% - about what is paid now - that would be enough. It would mean a 10% new tax on employers that don't pay for insurance now, but would be about the same as most employers that *do* pay for heath insurance now

Basically a new tax on small businesses. I can tell you that one of the big reasons I exited the restaurant business is that I expected Obama to do that kind of tax. It would be a game-ender for lots of small businesses.

We don't need national health insurance. We need national health care. Eliminate all insurance companies and insurance paperwork would probably save at least 25% - maybe more - since we spend double on health care than the next highest country.

....And force every medical professional to be an employee of the State... No.

There are many improvements that can be made to the ACA that would not help expensive but would dramatically improve coverage and care. All of this begins with restoring regulations and increasing consumer protections. (Remember only 6 to 8% of Americans are in Obamacare).

Insurers who offer corporate plans in a given market must also offer those plans to the self-pay, Obamacare markets for the same rates. We should not just allow but mandate transparency in pricing, including plan discounts.
