Let's run a three-week experiment on a few cities that are similar in terms of density, climate, and coronavirus infections to see if masks and social distancing make a difference.

Scott I wouldn’t take you for a masker. The one time Fauci was correct was his early interview on 60 Minutes cautioning how masks can be counterproductive. I know it is for me. I’m constantly touching my face a lot more when wearing one, then handling it with dirty hands, etc.

I am not a mask proponent, but I suspect those who are against them also have refused to sneeze into their elbow (antecubital fossa, perhaps) or just cover in general.

Is there a RCT study showing that mask use is any more effective than sneezing into elbow/tissue? I haven't found one.

Totally love this analogy. But if you are so sure it’s accurate, why the need for this 3 week test? Honestly trying to understand. Unrelated: love your live shows and tweets.

Seat belts don't work 100% but we still wear them. Air bags don't work 100% but we still install them. Combined the two still are not 100% effective but combined the success rate is better than only having one.
