Antifaschistische Aktion and Hitler both opposed the German government while not being fans of each other. Same as the U.S. and Stalin being on the same side in WW2 but not friends.

You mean the KPD. Not Antifaschistische Aktion. The Antifas were literally the result of previous enemies across the left wing coming together to battle the greater threat of Nazism. It's true that Thälmann once thought Nazism could help their cause – but that predates Antifa.

Yeah you already sent me that. You should consider taking down your initial post. It's inaccurate.

It's as accurate as saying today's Antifa and BLM are allies because they temporarily have a common enemy. They are also mortal enemies because Antifa would destroy any form of capitalism as fascism, including the Bernie Sanders kind that is presumably popular with BLM.

So... you're suggesting that because German Antifa in the 30s stemmed from the KPD whose leader had once briefly suggested not beating up Nazis could be useful to them – that BLM should not ally itself with American Antifa, an entirely unrelated movement?

I think you're actively misunderstanding history for your own means. History doesn't *work for you*. Your job is to try and respect and understand it. I live in Austria, so we have to take this seriously. Also. If you're against antifascism – then you are a fascist.

You sound smart, so I will confess to trolling to make a point about antifa fooling people with "anti-fascist" which really means anti-capitalism, which means anti-civilization, in effect. So they would oppose Bernie and BLM too if they got into power.
