Antifaschistische Aktion and Hitler both opposed the German government while not being fans of each other. Same as the U.S. and Stalin being on the same side in WW2 but not friends.

in other words, national socialism was born out of the death spiral of capitalism (post-WWI hyperinflation).. in this context, the idea behind the quote seems quite accurate.
