I don’t think people really understand how a country in all out panic would be more harmful. The grocery industry was hit harder than I’ve ever seen, even been through multiple hurricanes here in Florida. We’re still struggling to get back in stock.

The two options were not 1. All out panic 2. Lie to keep it under the wraps. He could have easily said that it was a very serious virus, worn a mask, been a good example, and still kept everyone calm.
