Locking down the economy and finding a cure are two different things.
-
A "cure" isn't required to solve the problem. Rapid at-home testing would make people aware of their own infection much sooner than current tests can report results. R0 will drop with this available to the public.

I think it’s hard to find “credible” doctors who are not corrupted by big pharma. Can we really have a successful at-home testing campaign if the medical community rallies against it?

Wrong. We are spending a billion dollars a week testing people with no symptoms, for a virus with a 99.98% survival rate. This isn’t complicated. WTFU

They have tried to focus on how trump has handled the covid19 pandemic but it doesn’t change the minds of people. Trump supporters won’t support biden because of this failure and those independents who r concerned about this already have decided to vote for biden.

Detection limits on siliva are not great. Collecting 2 ml of saliva at home is difficult. Saliva is hard to work with on instruments. Saliva swab or lower nasal swab better choice
-
Saliva swab is fine with me
