Then they would just say, “it doesn’matter because Trump is worse” while their head explodes and they say, “I don’t want to talk about politics”. This is my experience. And dthen I feel bad because they are obviously stressed.

No perceptual difference if that's always the case, since you can't tell. I think Trump is more likely to contradict *himself*- less *internally* consistent than Biden (though maybe not ("It-Was-A-Debate!") Harris, which some people mind more. 1/

I think this actually *is* an important difference in some contexts, but it's not obvious to me which way it cuts. Trump's behavior seems more blatant which seems to bother a lot of people and might legit have bad consequences, but there's something to be said 2/
