If "Kids rarely get sick with COVID-19" is your argument for opening schools, while ignoring the spreading-to-grandma part of the equation, I don't want to hear anything else you have to say.

Wouldn’t the volume of children teachers interact with mitigate the careful factor? With say 15-20 students a day accidental interactions will occur

Entirely. The kind of point Scott wouldn't stand for if someone made it against him.

Teachers are young as well (better immunity) then old

I don't know the answer but I'm wondering: what's the average age for teachers? I would assume 40s but we also have outliers in the older ages. I've seen teacher-tweeters obviously worried because they're older. Do, do something about the at-risk teachers but open the schools.

We assume any responsible person is careful around grandma. We assume grandma is careful around children. We assume that those whom are not, can deal with the consequences of not being careful. We shouldn’t make assumptions for others.

If teachers can avoid it by being careful when sharing a room with 20 kids all day long... then Grandma can be careful sharing her home with one or two kids for a few hours when they may interact.
