That's the low awareness, fake news take, that we can compare any of these countries and doing so is easy and obvious.

How so? Ignoring what works in other countries, even ones who started off poorly as we did, is easy, and wrong.https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/23/opinion/us-italy-coronavirus.html …

Common error to think you can compare apples and oranges. Too many variables to isolate leadership decisions. Countries that did everything "right" are getting second waves.

Yes, and dealing with these waves. Unlike the USA, where the only "plan" is whatever Trump thinks will get him re-elected. The irony is this not only costs lives every day, it loses him votes, and seats in Congress. We are not so different from Italy or Germany. Or Canada.pic.twitter.com/pUJ0twEmMz

I wouldn't trust any data on this topic, literally. But just for fun, check out the countries with early HCQ compared to non-users or light users. If you want to believe some charts, that'll red pill you fast. (And I don't believe any of the charts.)

Gee, did Germany, with 20% of out death rate, use hcq? No. Canada? Vietnam? New Zealand? No. They used sensible precautions, and asked discipline of their people to this day. They take it seriously, and respect this virus And it worked. Hcq may be a help, but is not the only way.

I'm going to block you now because I know what follows is barrels of more apples compared to more oranges because you can't swallow the red pill that the comparison can't be rationally made.

So no answer why we and Canada are so different? I brought facts to this discussion...got none in return.

They...are...apples...and...oranges...and we don't know how their situation turns out versus ours. If Tiger misses a put on the first hole, it doesn't predict who wins the tournament.

That does not speak to the same virus in different countries. We can see now, 6 months later, the data, who has handled it well, and their methods, and who has not. Yes, Asia has a different cultural mindset, but we need to study how Vietnam, bordering on China, contained this.

Meaning we don't know. Which is my point, not yours. I think you turned the corner.
