I don’t believe any country is doing widespread testing and contact tracing EFFECTIVELY. Sounds like something a government might say they are doing because it sounds good.

Singapore has 54k confirmed cases and 27 deaths. If they’ve caught everything that’s an IFR of 0.05%. If they’ve missed cases that would make the IFR even lower, which is what I mean when I say it would be more impressive.

In Singapore most cases are among 'guest-workers' from 3rd world countries. They live under difficult conditions but they might be more robust and maybe even immune against the virus. I noticed the same effect in Qatar. A lot of cases but only a few deaths from Covid.
