The longer Trump is president, the funnier it is to ask his critics for the one strongest example of something he did wrong on the job. Example answer: "Well, his mean tweets, and, um, you know the thing."

Strongest Examples: 1) Failure to take the covid problem seriously (instead of thinking it would just go away by itself) 2) Failure to admit mistake #1 and continuing to downplay the pandemic 3) Trade War with China 4) Gutting of environmental protections 5) Tax cuts for top 1%

Your mind reading powers are extraordinary. What else is he privately thinking? And pushing China got us to decoupling, the best thing any president did in decades, for security and for the economy.

I noticed you skipped over his continuing failures on covid. The trade war hurt the economy (US businesses and consumers paid the tariffs) here and worldwide by disrupting supply chains. The decoupling is fairly minor, mostly the natural result of covid --> local supply chains.

The trade war was essential to see if we could get reasonable deals. Now we know it wasn’t possible. Decoupling is next.
