If you have only seen studies saying masks don't help, or you have only seen studies saying they do help, you just found out you are a low information voter.

The only ones I've seen that say they work are in specific settings and to prevent symptomatic people from transmission. There's no evidence that asymptomatic people can transmit this virus, the entire basis behind requiring EVERYONE to wear masks. Sick people should wear masks.

So the studies really conclude nothing , then? I’m confused, I’ll wear my mask, but doubt it makes much difference?

Still only looking at pro/cons of one side. The side not looked at is “is there any harm from wearing them in unsterile conditions?” Can’t exclude those last three words. If so, that’s of more importance because Then I’m self inflicting harm.

I don’t doubt they are helpful but I most ppl are wearing dirty, unwashed masks multiple times, and substitute it for thorough hand washing and hygiene.
