We need a modern day Social Media Constitution and Digital Bill Of Rights so that this doesn’t happen.
Photos, Video, algorithms and facial recognition among other tech is severely flawed. We need to look closer.

And it will improve over time, as all tech does. Just ~10 years ago text to speech sucked, vision systems are plentiful now. Heck look how much AI has grown in 5 years. Just think what could be done if big tech wasn't focused on swaying a silly election.

Agreed. Perhaps the facial recognition could be incorporated into a bill of rights somehow since facial recognition as of now is not 100% accurate.

Interestingly, this story is about human failure. Had police brought the photos to the arrest, they would have seen it wasn’t him. The story says it was obvious.
