What do you call a national story about a noose that weirdly includes no photo of the noose? Fake noose. If the Bubba Wallace noose story is real, it is appalling, of course. But without a photo, I'd give it a 5% chance of being real.

But if this is the case, what are the chances anyone at nascar admits it? Like all good corporations, they want to virtue signal to BLM, and admitting this story was a hoax or misunderstanding would damage that goal, and could lead to them being "canceled"

I would also like to point out if not true and it was a nefarious act by someone behind the scenes they should get banished from the sport and be brought up on charges if possible.

Yes. To be fair, a “hoax” would be Bubba or a member of his team placing rope there to be found. This may be more sheer stupidity, or just vile dishonesty, to interpret any rope loop as a “noose.” - Show replies
