A lot of right leaning thought leaders are saying unironically, "show me a single example of structural racism." We still have a lot of miscommunication around the term "racism." Many people believe it exclusively refers to racial discrimination in law or in peoples' behavior. /1

Systemic means it is tied to social and political insitutions. It's not just based on individual prejudices. That is the difference. It is crucial this is understood.

One thing I’ll admit from engaging with Scott and Bruce is if we want anything to change, we need to create a movement with a more aspirational message and solutions that offer us a roadmap for a brighter future that unite humans and transcends many of the important racial issues
