Progressives keep giving a historical argument to justify their argument of present racism, but the problem with that is that history will never change no matter where we are in the present.

It gives them their timeline. The past was racist while the present is less racist therefore some of that past racism must still permeate society. There was systemic racism therefore there must still be systemic racism just less.

Scott's concept of Time is wrong. In 1959 Prince George Edward County Virginia closed public schools rather than integrate. White students went to subsidized private schools. Based on Scotts age, he would of missed Kindergarten til second grade, when the schools were integrated.
