Agree. Mortgage rules are difficult for everyone and very unfair. I have paid off more than 10 mortgages in my life and could not buy a house last year. I quit my job and started my business had income too. Lost 2k in closing costs then rejected

Isn't this a "correlation is not causation" issue? Blacks are indeed denied credit at a higher rate, but it's not because if race. Even if it isn't truly systemic, it's the kind of thing people mean when using the term.
