This is a sincere question, no troll: Would the definition of systemic racism that focuses on outcomes mean the NBA is an example of systemic racism?

Pretty sure lowering the rim will just make the most athletic players dominate even harder.

1. That's a logical fallacy. The statements "systemic racism is one reason for unequal outcomes" and "unequal outcomes are entirely the result of systemic racism" aren't equivalent. 2. The NBA analogy is bad. The NBA isn't a system grounded on or yielding for equal outcomes.

The justice system, in turn, is, and there is evidence that it's not delivering. To which you replied it's individual not systemic. Which leads me back to my question how you differentiate the two.https://twitter.com/AndreasShrugged/status/1271485708289675264?s=19 …

Values are the fuel (essence) of what we call systemic, according to Luhmann! This is how we organise systemic outcomes.. say value based policy! However the outcome seldom is what was intended.

The practical definition of "systemic racism" is power plus prejudice. Critical race theorists would reject the NBA example as it belongs to a wider "system of white power".
