What is the right amount of time to wait for an example of systemic racism before discarding it as an illusion?

How do you think about the contrast between the consistent perception from many white folks like yourself that it is an illusion, with the overwhelming opinions of black folk describing their experience so differently?pic.twitter.com/iBVLWddeuh

That's the point, to figure it out. One theory is that it is not communicated effectively to the disbelievers. Another is that people define it differently. Another is that confirmation bias is working on one side or both. And more. Let's find out.

For instance, I have a Libertarian confirmation bias, but my “bias” towards knowing the actual practical TRUTH is stronger. I want to know when there are cases of racism and the extent of it.

Yes more comfortable letting our own buy houses near us. And more comfortable hiring our own. More comfortable letting our own be served in restaurants. More comfortable letting our own share seats on buses. And more comfortable extending democratic and voting rights to our own.

It’s a definition issue. Most whites don’t actively have ethnic hatred so they don’t consider themselves racist.

Agree... For many, 'racist' means 'active in KKK type organizations' so the entire discussion is mystifying. Liberals don't help by using 'racist' as an identity/label vs. broad description for types of behaviors and biases that can/do affect anyone.
