@harari_yuval notes in Homo Deus, religion is not perceived as religion to a believer, it's merely perceived as reality. Religion is a word used to describe the beliefs of others, or our own previous beliefs. So that seems like a tricky solution. -
It puzzles me on why there are many fights in India to establish existence proof of Gods like Rama whether archaeological or otherwise or even Jesus for that matter. If you think the lessons are good for life you should follow them regardless of proof. and vice-versa.

That is exactly what would happen. Anyone who wanted to make any statement could just say it was part of their religion, and the forum would then be powerless to stop them.
