I addressed it in a comment on the thread. Floyd’s character was multidimensional. Yes he did horrible things but he also made attempts to get his life together as can be seen by his involvement in church groups on Houston. The premise that he was merely a criminal is callous.

my point re the statistics was that they prove nothing because statistics do not capture police misconduct which is part of what we protest when we protest police brutality. There is no database on how many times cops have illegally planted drugs, for example.

would that variable affect the stats for all races, or just AA? Also, can the cops illegally plant a murder, robbery, or rape?
