Maybe they're not trying to persuade anyone, but rather are standing up against police brutality through a showing of large numbers.
The point is that you’d need a sample that represents general population to “see how they did.” A more likely interpretation of your poll is that one end of the spectrum feels a lot more empathy for BLM, and the other end feels a lot less. But what about those in the middle?
why should anyone even have to persuade others against evident and even recorded injustices Scott? Why do you need persuading to think “these people shouldn’t be and don’t deserve to be killed and oppressed” ? You’re highlighting the very core the issue.
It's not up to Scott to persuade BLM it's up to BLM to persuade America. Scott is showing that the rioting is not helping no matter what the media claims. People see destruction & are concerned. BLM message at that point becomes moot. Stopping destruction become paramount.
