Is every risk factor for #COVID19 a Vitamin D deficiency in disguise? Google it: old, overweight, black, diabetic, smog dwellers, nursing homes, prisons, shaded NYC streets, Chinese urban dwellers, covered body parts (Iran). All would have vitamin D issues.

So then what about the Cruises; Do the number of infected vs deceased maybe also correlate? Do those that ventured into the sun more have a better chance at asymptomatic or recovery than those that were apt to hide below deck? Interesting hypothesis.

I think in general, people that live in extremely hot climates can have a vit d deficiency as well, because they cover themselves up or stay inside more often. there is probably a sweet spot for vitamin D, where it is warm and friendly, but not really hot outside

I used to love the sun, beaches and lakes, waterskiing and beach volleyball. Now that I'm 56 I loathe with my daily pickleball games in the sun. All the other boomers are pissed with me! The struggle is real.

You’re familiar with snowbirds, Palm Springs, Sun City, The Villages? I think seniors like the sun . . .
