Is every risk factor for #COVID19 a Vitamin D deficiency in disguise? Google it: old, overweight, black, diabetic, smog dwellers, nursing homes, prisons, shaded NYC streets, Chinese urban dwellers, covered body parts (Iran). All would have vitamin D issues.

It sure would be nice to know if China is using Vitamin D supplements to keep things under control. Or maybe shutting down Wuhan cleared the smog enough to bring Vitamin D back to the residents who came out of lockdown.

There are many variables besides sunshine that can lead to vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency is widespread throughout the world including Iran. Kidneys must convert it into usable form, so other nutritional deficiency might limit your body‘s production despite sunlight.

Does sunscreen prevent Vit D from entering your body? My guess is, no.

Not 100%, but yeah it does it seems. I do not wear it or put it on my kids unless it's middle of summer and there is no shade for awhile, obvious reasons.pic.twitter.com/5q29AzKTfd
