We have 50 governors and many other leaders and experts talking about reopening. But none of them are saying, "Just wait X weeks because that's when we will have enough testing resources to beat this thing." Because that day isn't coming this year.

Fauci and Birx say if the federal government phased reopening guidelines are followed, we will have enough testing at each phase.

Testing for the phases is a tiny fraction of what is needed to beat the virus. That is still closer to a herd strategy.

It's controlled herd immunity. With maybe a vaccine coming to help. That's as good as we can do at this point.

Testing seems like a point in time thing. You could get infected 5 minutes later. Perhaps shots of gin with a tonic water chaser? Some zinc? Vitamin D, C and a bit of sunshine?

What you don’t believe we can do 700 million tests a month for the next six months in which case all that testing ability will be useless the test will only cost about one to $2000 apiece keep it 100 the price

My cost estimate of the test come from something I heard it from a Harvard medical economist that includes equipment training material which all has to be written off in the six months

The U.S. is testing more per capita now than South Korea. Testing is not what beats the virus. It might be masks. If everyone wore a mask in public, the virus might all but disappear. Would be worth trying.

So you know what will beat the virus, Scott? Then bring it on and do it if it is so simple and clear. But no, that can’t happen cuz you don’t know jack shit.

Junk science hurts our food supply. Laws, funding used in NPIP forces instant testing for antibodies, kills healthy chickens & entire stock within 5 mile radius so that only birds with no immunity are allowed to live. Be careful bringing that to humans.
