Time lag phenomena explain about 6 weeks - the time it takes for all data to be compiled. So, 6 weeks back has most, but not all, records. 1 week back has a much larger gap. 7 weeks & further back should have compiled records.

It's the previous portion of the 2020 timeline that concerns me. There're remarkably fewer deaths in the prior weeks compared to previous flu seasons, nevermind the drop-off at the end which may be due to reporting lag.
