Can you point me towards where you explain what trump actually said that everybody "got wrong." Genuinely interested in your take but cant find it. Thanks!

Fake news says Trump wondered aloud about injecting household disinfectants. Never happened. He was discussing a UV light concept that is “injected” into lungs or veins to “disinfect.” I tweeted about it days before he mentioned it.

I think the disconnect is that the President did say the word "disinfectant" but if you listen to the end of the 30 second clip you will see he was talking about the light.https://twitter.com/David_Leavitt/status/1253459820608466947?s=20 …

The media is also overlooking that there is already chlorine (Clorox) in our drinking water. You can often taste it. Anyone with a well is familiar with a “Clorox shock” to kill bacteria. It’s also in municipal water, and pools. It’s safe in tiny amounts. https://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/drinking/public/chlorine-disinfection.html …

Clorox and Lysol were trending everywhere right after conference but sure.

He was reacting to a presentation about the efficacy of "light" and "disinfectants" (specifically, bleach) at killing the virus. He mused about the possibility of using "light," and then "disinfectants," inside the body. It meant exactly what it sounds like it means.

IF that is true then he sure doesn't have the "best words". Could've easily explained it's used in conjunction with a ventilator. That there is a company actively working on this very procedure with stats showing progress and a link. It's not what you say @ScottAdamsSays but how.

Disinfectant has many meanings not just household cleaning agents.
