The president listened to someone say "2+2=4" and then stood at the podium and said "hey this 2+2 stuff sounds pretty great, maybe we'll look into whether 2+2 might be good for 9, 12, 1000, too, you know? Something to look into." Said it out loud. No mind-reading.
