Watching Democrats believe their own fake news gives me an Uncanny Valley kind of experience. They resemble regular humans, but their gullibility makes them seem slightly "off" in a way that disturbs me. Anyone else feel that? It's a serious question.

I’m wondering if people actually “know” it’s fake, but are choosing to believe it for “fun” in order to rile up the republicans to “get back at them”. Or something.

I used to think that as well. Nope they 100% believe every edited clip they see. No questions asked. And when you show them they are wrong they immediately deflect to another topic they hate Trump about.

I think it's a minor version of cognitive dissonance on your part due to unwillingness to accept at least the possibility of a global conspiracy of power, where many globalist elites are merely acting like they believe things in order to sway public opinion.
