There's a massive IQ test on the Internet today. If you think the president was asking Dr. Birx about injecting bleach or isopropyl alcohol into coronavirus patients -- because it sounded that way to you -- you failed the test.https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1253639070837694464 …

No, that is not how laypersons think of 'injection'. Light and disinfectant were two separate thoughts, as evidenced by the context. Give up on this one - there is no way the average person heard his comment and said "Oh, yeah, he means far-UV" tech.

People do not think of light as a disinfectant. Some professionals in niche contexts can, but that is not a thing in an everyday person's lexicon. He even started the statement separating it from the light conversation. “***And then*** I see the disinfectant”

Google "sunlight is the best disinfectant" and then learn how to read things in context.

Let's just watch the video again: https://www.msn.com/en-us/video/news/trump-wonders-if-injecting-disinfectant-into-someones-body-could-kill-virus/vi-BB136VXO …

Errr... I dunno, hate Trump but I'm kind of with Scott on this one. He specifically refers to "light" at the end of his sad little ramble.

There is no "layperson's word" for "inserting a ventilator-type device with far-UV technology into the patient's trachea." This is truly sad.

"But he said disinfectant - duhhhh, must mean Lysol!" You can't reason with people who think drinking aquarium cleaner because it contained a word Trump mentioned on the tee-vee makes sense. Don't even bother trying.
