Here's the quick version of the point on one of my @prageru videos. CO2 like anything else has thresholds of danger and benefit. Little evidence we're near a dangerous high. Definitive evidence that the energy that comes with the CO2 fuels climate mastery. https://youtu.be/Wtc_L0QloRg?t=147 …https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1253175245642424326 …

Is more CO2 better no matter how much more you have? The past does not predict the future.

I agree we are likely to be better off in the future, exactly as you say, because humans adapt so well. But I wouldn't bet against a CO2 tipping point sneaking up on us in the next hundred years should continue to be dumb and shun nuclear energy.

What would be the climate's CO2 tipping point? The Earth has survived, even thrived at, CO2 concentrations of 2000 ppm, 4000ppm and even 8000 ppm. Why would 500 ppm or even 1000 ppm now set off some sort of planet killing catastrophe?

There is no credible science behind any sort of a CO2 “tipping point”. Almost all of the warming from CO2 is already accounted for in the first 100 ppm, and CO2 is a lagging indicator of temperature changes in the geologic record.

Nuclear energy may be too susceptible to human error with cataclysmic consequences. I'd rather take my chances on more CO2.

Plants thrive at 1,200 ppm. Mammals (humans) don't like much above 800 ppm. We're around 400 ppm now. Vegetation and plankton suck it up, so 800 is a long way off. Wish we could speed it up!

Why is that any worse a bet than betting against falling into an ice age if we fail to keep enriching the atmosphere with CO2 and thus returning improvidently sequestered carbon to the cycle of life?

What’s your basis for CO2 tipping point Scott? I.e. what do u find persuasive? BTW I like your podcasts & think nuclear is better option (generally) for municipal power.

If a tipping point exists why hasn't it tipped already? Why wouldn't the climb out of the iceage continue without man's aid to an earthly inferno as each degree warming releases more CO2 from oceans?
