Welcome to another day of people comparing the wrong things and drawing the wrong conclusions. And don't forget your Internet logic: If it is sunny today, it means it will also be sunny tonight, so leave your flashlight home.

What you are talking about is analysis. What they are screaming is politics.

Funny how they don't consider statistics a science when it doesn't fit their narrative.

I understand your point, but tbf, flu season is not a whole year. On average flu season lasts 13 weeks. I don't understand why so much bad data flies around.

Not a pundit, but we do have full mitigation for flu: vaccine, test, therapies, and palliatives. We don't know if we have mitigated Covid-19. There's no way to prove that shelter-in-place has worked or not. Many countries that have not locked down have far fewer deaths.

I want someone to explain how, if a company has successfully worked remotely for three months, they should desire to return to conventional office cubicles instead of continuing remote work. I read “after Covid-19” as if there’s a real “after”.

“Successfully” managed this situation is not the same as maximizing success.

Japan did not lockdown, but wore masks, have enclosed bathroom stalls. Elderly population, high density, smokers, hit early with many cases. And few deaths and few cases. We need to look for success and stop listening to clueless failures like Dr. Fauci.
